Gaseyeon representative Kim Se-yeon revealed that Kim Soo-hyun committed acts surpassing those of the 'Nth room', noting that he would not disclose the evidence to protect the dignity of the bereaved family and the deceased.
On the afternoon of 27th, the bereaved family's legal representative, Law Firm Buyou attorney Bu Ji-seok, and Gaseyeon representative Kim Se-yeon held a press conference at the Space Share Gangnam Station Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, where they disclosed evidence of the six-year relationship between the late Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun, which began when they were minors.
On that day, Gaseyeon representative Kim Se-yeon stated regarding the photo of the late Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun touching cheeks, "I cannot provide detailed information. What we say from the perspective of the bereaved family is solely to restore the dignity of Ms. Kim Sae-ron and her family," adding, "There is a message saying that the photo taken while touching cheeks was taken in 2016, as told to the family."
Earlier, the bereaved family of Kim Sae-ron claimed through Gaseyeon that Kim Soo-hyun had a relationship with Kim Sae-ron from November 2015, when she was a minor, over six years. In response, Kim Soo-hyun's side stated, "It's not true," asserting that Kim Sae-ron was an adult and that the two dated for a little over a year. Amid this tension, Gaseyeon recently claimed to have obtained evidence, asserting that "(Kim Soo-hyun's actions) exceed those of the Nth room," escalating the situation.
Kim Se-yeon stated regarding the 'Nth room' claims, "This is to inform the public of Kim Soo-hyun's brazen attitude and to raise awareness, suggesting that we have such material as well," and added, "However, this too must be done without damaging the dignity of Kim Sae-ron and the bereaved family, so we will not disclose it yet."
Meanwhile, the bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron claimed through the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' (abbreviated as 'Gaseyeon') that the deceased had been in a relationship with actor Kim Soo-hyun for six years since she was 15 years old, and claimed that her family urged her to repay 700 million won that was borrowed to settle after a traffic accident caused by drunk driving in 2022, despite experiencing financial difficulties after her activities were suspended.
In relation to this, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated, "It is an obvious falsehood that cannot be tolerated," and noted, "We will consider the strongest legal response possible against the falsehoods spread by the Garosero Research Institute," but later changed its statement to acknowledge the relationship, saying, "Kim Sae-ron and I dated from the summer of 2019, after she became an adult, until the fall of 2020."
However, regarding the statement of claim for the repayment of 700 million won, they explained, "If we arbitrarily bear the penalty fee that Kim Sae-ron should be responsible for, it may constitute breach of fiduciary duty for the executives of our company who made that decision, and there was a concern that the corresponding costs could not be recognized as deductible expenses for the company. It had to be confirmed that we made efforts to secure our claims against Kim Sae-ron."
However, the bereaved family disclosed messages exchanged between Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun in 2016 during the press conference, alleging that after receiving the statement of claim from Gold Medalist, they attempted extreme measures.
