Baby Monster proved their talent as a monstrous rookie with a perfect live performance in Japan, truly stealing the hearts of local music fans.
According to YG Entertainment on the 27th, the one-take live video of Baby Monster's 'DRIP' uploaded to 'THE FIRST TAKE' YouTube channel surpassed 18.96 million views. After exceeding 10 million views within a month of its release, it has recorded the highest number of views among grants content featuring K-pop artists while showing a steady upward trajectory over three months.
In this way, even before officially debuting in Japan, Baby Monster is showing remarkable prominence locally. As part of their world tour, the '2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR 'HELLO MONSTERS' IN JAPAN' has expanded its performance schedule to a total of 12 shows across four cities due to explosive demand. Thanks to this, they are expected to write various records, including gathering the shortest 100,000 audience for a K-pop girl group's first tour in Japan.
Also, Baby Monster has been selected as the performer for the theme song 'Ghost' of the anticipated movie 'Visible High School Girl,' which is based on a popular manga of the same name. As this will be their first original song in Japan, they are expected to once again impress local music fans and the public.
Meanwhile, Baby Monster is smoothly sailing through their debut world tour, the '2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR 'HELLO MONSTERS'. Following performances in Seoul, Newark, and Los Angeles, they will meet fans in Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, Kanagawa, and Fukuoka.
