Singer Taeyeon participated in the support for recovery from large wildfires that have been rapidly spreading.
The Korea Red Cross (Chairman Kim Cheol-soo) announced on the 27th that Taeyeon, its ambassador, donated 100 million won for the recovery from the large wildfires that occurred across the country, including in Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, Ulsan, Jeonbuk, and Gangwon.
Taeyeon said, "It hurts my heart to see the damage increasing as the wildfires spread throughout the area," and added, "I hope this can provide a little strength to those affected by the disaster, the firefighters, and the relief workers."
Taeyeon previously donated 100 million won in 2019 to support hygiene products for vulnerable female students, joining the Red Cross Honor Society, which is a high donor group within the Korea Red Cross.
