Actor Gong Yoo donated 100 million won to aid wildfire victims and firefighters.

Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 27th that actor Gong Yoo (real name Gong Ji-cheol) donated 100 million won for wildfire recovery efforts.

Gong Yoo said, "I hope this can be a small help to the victims suffering from the prolonged wildfires, as well as to all those working hard on the front lines, including firefighters."

The donation will be used for emergency support and provision of relief supplies for residents in wildfire-affected areas such as Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.

Shin Hoon, the secretary-general of Hope Bridge, noted, "We deeply appreciate Gong Yoo's heartfelt contribution," and added, "This donation will be a practical source of comfort and recovery for our neighbors going through difficult times due to disasters."
