The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 27th that the group IVE donated 200 million won, with each of the six members contributing 100 million won, to support victims of wildfires and to improve the treatment and perception of firefighters dedicated to disaster sites.
IVE said, "We wanted to express our gratitude to the firefighters who are working hard on the front lines and also hoped to be of some help to those suffering from the sudden wildfires," adding, "We hope many people can regain their daily lives."
Meanwhile, Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, noted, "We are deeply grateful for the heartfelt donations from the members of IVE," adding, "Hope Bridge will do its best to ensure that IVE's valuable intentions are conveyed to the affected areas and sites."
In addition, Hope Bridge is currently providing emergency relief supplies to the wildfire-affected areas in Uiseong County, North Gyeongsang Province, and Sancheong County, South Gyeongsang Province, and is operating relief vehicles such as laundry relief trucks and mental recovery buses at temporary evacuation sites. They are also reviewing additional support in consultation with local governments if necessary.
