On the eve of the 'King of Singers' finals, Kim Yang expressed his longing for his father, who passed away.
On Jan. 27, the MBN program 'Special Report World' unveiled the daily life of trot singer Kim Yang.
Kim Yang noted, “My dad was really neat, but he paid more attention since my mom was sick. My mom said that even though there are several children, she wouldn't trade my dad for anyone else,” referring to his father who passed away from cancer last year.
Kim Yang, who said his life has been in freefall since the release of his second album, stated, “Everyone but me has become a credit delinquent, and we completely fell apart,” revealing that his family struggled a lot due to his business.
Kim Yang, who underwent surgery for uterine fibroids in early February, mentioned that he had abdominal surgery and has not fully healed yet. Nevertheless, he held the microphone to sing the song 'Our Father' in honor of his father's first anniversary.
Kim Yang, whose father passed away the day before the finals of 'King of Singers', said, “I didn’t want to go to the finals, nor did I want to compete,” as tears fell.
