Park Su-hong's first solo parenting experience was depicted in 'The Return of Superman.'
In the episode aired on the 26th of KBS2 TV's entertainment program 'The Return of Superman' (hereinafter 'Superman'), Park Su-hong's busy daily routine was shown. Park Su-hong received great praise for waking up at 4 a.m. and taking care of household chores.
The tasks Park Su-hong undertook included sterilizing baby bottles, organizing laundry, feeding the cat Da-hong, and feeding the fish. Park Su-hong said, "I take care of feeding all living creatures at home," and received praise.
After finishing shaving, brushing his teeth, and washing his face, Park Su-hong left the house. It was shortly after 4:30 a.m. However, Park Su-hong showed his diligent demeanor as a 30-year veteran broadcaster by saying, "I'm late. I left early." Active without a manager, he organized his schedule and drove himself in the car.
While driving, he received a phone call from Kim Da-ye. Park Su-hong kindly asked, "Did you wake up? Sleep a bit more. Is Jae-i awake? Let's have breakfast together after my schedule is finished."
Park Su-hong arrived at the early morning home shopping broadcast. He started rehearsal around 6:40 a.m. for the live home shopping that began at 7 a.m., and he subtly boasted about his daughter Jae-i. Achieving a sell-out rate of 95%, Park Su-hong returned home.
Upon returning home, he was greeted by Kim Da-ye and his daughter Jae-i. Kim Da-ye affectionately welcomed Park Su-hong, saying, "I couldn't even get up, what should I do? I made egg toast for you." Park Su-hong responded with a loving answer.
Kim Jun-ho expressed surprise, saying, "Wasn't our program a parenting program?" Park Su-hong responded, "I have an idea of baby Kim Da-ye, you know?" Oh Jong-hyuk remarked seriously, "The important thing is that Jae-i, caught between the two of you, is what matters," bringing laughter.
Park Su-hong's solo parenting began. Kim Da-ye said affectionately, "I'm going to the hospital for immunotherapy. Jae-i might get shabby if I'm not home. She might just be in her inner wear," as she asked Park Su-hong. Kim Da-ye had dressed Jae-i beautifully. Park Su-hong, although nervous saying, "This is my first solo parenting," quickly changed Jae-i into comfortable sleepwear after Kim Da-ye left the house.
As Park Su-hong looked at Jae-i quietly, he said, "Aw, she's so gentle," feeling uncertain. Oh Jong-hyuk commented, "My child was gentle until 100 days too," giving Park Su-hong a mysterious smile that made him anxious. However, Jae-i began to whimper in Park Su-hong's arms, and Park Su-hong said, "Why are you crying now that mom is gone?" feeling flustered.
With a strained expression, Park Su-hong soon started various games with Jae-i. He said, "Shall we play a play card game? You did well with mom," and added, "Okay, I will hold you while standing," as he hugged his daughter Jae-i. Jae-i, being a good daughter, automatically fell asleep when Park Su-hong started a video call with Son Heon-soo, and thus Park Su-hong's first solo parenting successfully concluded.
