The fourth act of "When Life Gives You Tangerines" has been partially revealed.
On the 27th, Netflix Korea uploaded a preview video titled "The person who allowed me to take every step back in life, the father who became my net" on its official YouTube channel.
The released video features the nervous appearance of Geum-myung (played by IU) alongside her father Gwan-sik (played by Park Hae-joon) before her entrance as the bride.
When Geum-myung said, "I really hate the kids who cry at weddings. Dad, please don’t cry. If you cry, I’ll really get annoyed," Gwan-sik responded, "Geum-myung, you can do well, right? If something goes wrong, step back. Run straight to dad. You know?"
Geum-myung reminisced about the past, recalling memories of Gwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum) in his middle-aged years. When Geum-myung, tasting kimchi for the first time, wondered if she could really eat it, Gwan-sik replied, "Are you sure you can eat it? If not, step back. Spit it out, you know?" He also reassured Geum-myung before her first day of elementary school, saying, "Can you go to school? If you feel uncertain, step back. Run straight home, you know? Dad is here at home."
Later, on the day of the college entrance exam, Geum-myung recalled her father’s support as he said, "Geum-myung, you can do well, right? Dad thinks you do everything well. But if it really feels troublesome and isn’t working out, step back. Just come out. Dad will be standing here." She burst into tears, drawing attention.
Watching this, Gwan-sik told Geum-myung, "Dad is right here. So do everything the way you want," and then, with the comment "bride entrance," the two held hands, evoking a sense of warmth.
Meanwhile, the fourth act of "When Life Gives You Tangerines," which unfolds the journey filled with beautiful moments in life, will be released on Netflix on the 28th (Friday).
