Actress Joo Hyun-young has extended a helping hand to support wildfire victims.
Recently, Joo Hyun-young donated 10 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to contribute to the recovery and support of the wildfire damage in the designated special disaster areas of Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan.
Joo Hyun-young's agency, AIMC, noted that "after hearing news about the spread of wildfire damage, Joo Hyun-young decided to donate to provide a little support", adding, "We express our deep condolences and gratitude to all those who are suffering, such as the evacuees who suddenly lost their homes due to this wildfire, and to everyone working hard for recovery."
Previously, Joo Hyun-young donated funds for the recovery efforts from the Turkey-Syria earthquake in 2023 and also provided a significant amount of pet supplies to a temporary shelter for abandoned and rescued animals in February.
