Actor and director Ha Jung-woo expressed confidence about his new directorial work 'Lobby.'

In the YouTube content 'Yongtaro' released on the 26th, actors Ha Jung-woo, Kang Mal-geum, and Kang Hae-rim appeared as guests.

The film 'Lobby,' in which they co-starred, depicts the process of Chang-wook (Ha Jung-woo) lobbying the corrupt Deputy Minister Choi (Kim Ui-sung) with golf to secure a $4 trillion national project. Kang Mal-geum plays the corrupt Minister's wife, while Kang Hae-rim takes on the role of Jin, a professional golfer.

Ha Jung-woo, who serves as the director and lead actor, joked, "This is a film that inherits the spirit and philosophy of 'Roller Coaster,'" and added, "I plan to strengthen the drama by complementing and correcting the shortcomings from that time," heightening expectations.

Ha Jung-woo continued, "Mal-geum is so excellent that I knew she would fit well. In Hae-rim's case, she plays a professional golfer, so I wanted her to evoke the feeling of a golf player. I was impressed by her role as the female lead in 'Somebody,' so I suggested it on set."

Rookie Kang Hae-rim said, "I was so surprised when the director asked to meet. There was no reason not to take on the role. It was such an honor." How about her actual golf skills? Kang Hae-rim stated, "I practiced very hard. I genuinely trained five times a week, four hours a day because I wanted my swing to look like a pro's."

Ha Jung-woo explained, "There are hardly any scenes of playing golf, even though I usually play golf. The focus is on lobbying rather than golf. Golf is just the backdrop for the drama." He also mentioned, "The Minister character is very unreasonable. It’s hilarious because they played it very seriously." He remarked about Kang Mal-geum, "She's one of the best," to which Kang Mal-geum humbly responded, "I’m a small top."

Did he have any complaints? Ha Jung-woo said, "There was a lot of movement and outdoor filming, so it must have been tough." Kang Mal-geum noted, "He always led the atmosphere to keep the team united. After finishing, we always had something delicious and warm to eat before parting ways." Ha Jung-woo added, "I think I was concerned about how the actors could come to the set comfortably."

Kang Hae-rim also expressed her gratitude by saying, "The director personally mentioned that I was doing really well and showing good acting. Hearing that from someone like Ha Jung-woo is something different."

'Lobby' is set to be released on April 2.
