Singer Shin Ui-jin returns with the new song "Farewell Song."
Having sung about the bittersweet memories of first love in tracks like "Night, Summer," "Miracle of Falling Stars," and "Girl, Running Towards the Light," Shin Ui-jin will embark on new activities by releasing her sixth mini album, "Farewell Song (離別讚歌)," on April 1.
At 6 p.m. on the 27th, she will kick off her new activities by releasing a music video teaser. With a crunchy guitar sound and an upbeat rhythm, her bright smile overlays the music, hinting at the anticipation for the new song.
The new song "Farewell Song" is created to convey the emotions and comfort of first love, continuing from last year's release "Girl, Running Towards the Light."
The agency IX Entertainment noted, "We hope that Shin Ui-jin's voice, which delivers small comfort, brings a warm spring to many who have endured the wounds of growing pains," urging support for the new song.
Shin Ui-jin made her debut in the music industry after appearing in KBS2's "The Songs We Loved, New Singer" in 2021 and Mnet's "Artistock Game: A Survival Where Singers Become Stocks" in 2022. She has been releasing songs mainly in the J-Rock genre and started her activities in Japan in June last year, garnering attention as "Korea's Yoasobi" and gaining love from fans in both Korea and Japan.
