The agency SM Entertainment announced that Aespa's English version of "Whiplash" will be released on various music sites at 1 p.m. on the 27th.

Released in October last year as the title track of the mini-album of the same name, the original song "Whiplash" is a dance track characterized by strong BASS sounds and house genre beats. Its addictive melody and lyrics that boldly convey a desire to move forward without being confined by norms have garnered popularity, leading the album to achieve million-seller status in November last year.

This single includes a version of "Whiplash" with English lyrics, along with a remix version by world-renowned DJ Steve Aoki. Aoki has reinterpreted the distinct vocals of the Aespa members in his own style.

Aespa will attend the "Billboard Women in Music 2025" awards ceremony on the 29th (local time) in the United States, where they will debut the English version stage of "Whiplash." Aespa has been selected as the winner of "Group of the Year" at the ceremony.
