As the group NewJeans declared a halt to their activities following the acceptance of a provisional injunction application, some members of the fandom recently conducted a truck protest criticizing the actions of NewJeans members.

Some members of NewJeans's fandom started a truck protest on the 27th in front of the HYBE headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, stating, "The adoption of all 11 provisional injunctions favorable to celebrities acts very disadvantageously in the main dispute. We want to convey to the members that there are other solutions.

The truck display sent by fans caught attention with phrases such as "Whose lawsuit is this for?" "You said it was six members, but the penalty is for five members of NewJeans" "A losing battle with astronomical penalties and damages. Pull yourself together" "After already having a year of hiatus, a lawsuit for three more years will make everyone forgotten" "The risk that NewJeans has to bear is too great to regret later" "Bunnies respect NewJeans but cannot allow them to walk a dangerous path."

They also emphasized adult responsibility, saying, "If adults care about NewJeans, do not put them in danger. The penalties are for NewJeans." "Adults around NewJeans, stop the gaslighting." "Why do adults hide behind NewJeans and make them the shield? The real responsibility lies with those who control." "Bunnies support not six NewJeans, but five NewJeans, believing in your potential, not the producer's ability," expressing the need for dialogue with ADOR.

This comes as fans express concerns over the members of NewJeans refusing to abide by a prior court ruling that prohibited independent activities by the five members.

On the 14th, the Seoul Central District Court made a ruling in favor of ADOR's application for a "provisional injunction to preserve the agency status and prohibit the signing of advertising contracts" against the five members of NewJeans (Minji, Hanni, Daniel, Hae-rin, HAEIN). It was determined that they should not engage in independent activities as they are in a dispute with ADOR over contract issues.

However, the members stated, "This decision does not sufficiently take into account that the members' trust in ADOR has completely collapsed," maintaining the name NJZ and showing no intention of backing down on independent activities. After attending the "ComplexCon" event held in Hong Kong and revealing a new song stage, they declared an unilateral halt to their activities.

The members of NewJeans, in an exclusive interview with the U.S. weekly magazine Time, expressed their disappointment regarding the court ruling, saying they did not expect the issues in the K-pop industry to change overnight and referred to themselves as revolutionaries.

In an interview released on the 26th with BBC News Korea, they said, "I really expected a different outcome, but everyone was shocked," and added, "We have put up with a lot and finally just raised our voices about the absurdity we experienced, but frankly, it’s not trending positively socially. I think this situation itself tells that truth."

Fans are also expressing concerns over the members’ remarks criticizing the K-pop system and their refusal to accept the ruling, as seen through overseas media.

Kim Sang-rok, a lawyer from Kim & Chang known as a "true fan" of NewJeans, also criticized the aftermath of the provisional injunction ruling, stating, "It's now time to wake up from the dream," and added, "At first, they aligned with Min Hee-jin to attack their parent company and criticized other labels and their affiliated artists. Now, they are denying the entire industry and have ended up disregarding the court, portraying Korea as a pathetic society while making anti-Korean remarks. Where will they go from here? Ignoring contracts and seeking resolution through law led them to the National Assembly, and now that doesn't work either, they run to prominent media outlets in the West that have criticized the K-pop idol training system from a Western perspective, spilling out tailored phrases as if they are self-proclaimed martyrs."

Meanwhile, the hearing for the objection filed by NewJeans members against the court's decision to prohibit independent activities is set for April 9.
