The broadcaster Park Ji-yoon expressed her sorrow regarding the damage caused by forest fires.
On the 27th, Park Ji-yoon posted a landscape featuring an airplane on her social media with a short message stating, "I hope it rains more."
Along with a praying emoticon, it appears that she expressed her sorrow over the large forest fires that have occurred in several regions, including Sancheong in Gyeongnam, Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, and Ulju in Ulsan.
The forest fires that have occurred in the Yeongnam region, particularly in Sancheong, Gyeongnam, and Uiseong, Gyeongbuk, since the 21st have surpassed the damage scale of the worst-ever forest fire recorded in 2000 on the East Coast. As of now, there have been 26 fatalities, along with more than 36,000 evacuees.
Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon married Choi Dong-seok in 2009 and has one son and one daughter, but she announced their divorce last year. The couple filed for divorce mediation at the Jeju District Court on Oct. 30 last year and is currently undergoing divorce procedures.
