The family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron revealed messages exchanged with Kim Soo-hyun in the past, adding fuel to the allegations of 'underage dating.' Amid this, Kim Soo-hyun's fans expressed their unwavering support and sent encouragement.

On the 27th, the legal representative of the family of the late Kim Sae-ron, attorney Bu Ji-seok from Law Firm Buyou, held a press conference at the Space Share Gangnam Station Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and disclosed some conversations between the late actor and Kim Soo-hyun confirmed through digital forensics.

The captured messages appeared to be from 2016. When Kim Sae-ron left a message saying '♥ side,' Kim Soo-hyun replied, 'Do it for real later,' and there were also affectionate phrases such as 'I miss you' and 'When can I hold you and fall asleep?' that drew attention.

Additionally, the family revealed a handwritten letter that Kim Sae-ron wrote in April after receiving a written notice last March, stating, 'I wanted to clear up the misunderstanding between us. I didn’t have contact with anyone at the company, and I was scared of lawsuits. I'm sorry for posting the photo; I posted it hoping the company would get in touch. I'm sorry for causing harm.'

It also included phrases like, 'The period we met was about 5 to 6 years. It was my first love and last love, so I hope you don't avoid me,' and 'If this letter doesn't reach you, our relationship will truly end forever. I think I will be sad. I won't interfere in your life anymore, so please don't hate me,' attorney Bu Ji-seok claimed. He also noted, 'I tried to deliver it in early April last year after receiving the notice, but I couldn't deliver it since the APT. is not accessible to just anyone.'

So far, the family has claimed through the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' (hereafter referred to as Gaseyeon) that Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun have been in a relationship for six years since she was 16. They also claimed that after causing a drunk driving accident, Kim Sae-ron faced pressure with two written notices demanding repayment of the penalty of 700 million won. Born on July 31, 2000, Kim Sae-ron was 15 to 16 years old in 2016. As the content of their conversations was disclosed, suspicions of grooming crimes against Kim Soo-hyun intensified, and unfavorable public opinion gradually spread.

However, Kim Soo-hyun's official fan cafe still sees a flood of supportive messages for him. The fans had already issued a joint declaration of support on the 26th under the name 'Kim Soo-hyun Actor Korean Fan Union.' At that time, they said, 'As the Korean Fan Union of Actor Kim Soo-hyun, we will unwaveringly support and stand by Actor Kim Soo-hyun.' Meanwhile, the family has sued YouTuber A for defamation over the videos posted about Kim Sae-ron's personal life prior to her death. In response, A released videos claiming Kim Sae-ron's marriage, pregnancy, and miscarriage, and at the press conference on the 27th, the family stated, 'A has been making our family suffer every day by exposing personal life and spreading falsehoods.
