Actors Kim So-yeon and Lee Sang-woo participated in donations for wildfire damage recovery.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 27th, "Kim So-yeon and Lee Sang-woo donated 50 million won for the recovery of wildfire damage in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan."
The two expressed through their agency, "We want to help the displaced people in shelters in any small way we can," and they added, "We sincerely hope that the wildfire is extinguished as soon as possible and that the daily lives of those affected are quickly restored."
Hope Bridge noted, "We deeply appreciate their warm generosity," and added, "Hope Bridge will do its best to help the affected neighbors rise again."
Hope Bridge has provided relief supplies totaling 420,000 items, including relief kits, shelter partitions, blankets, daily necessities, bottled water, and food to the wildfire-affected areas, and is continuing on-site relief activities including laundry at the shelters.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association is a disaster relief fundraising organization established in 1961 by media outlets and social organizations across the country. Its main activities include disaster emergency relief, collecting and distributing public donations, restoring local communities after disasters, and supporting disaster-vulnerable groups. To date, it has supported 1.6 trillion won in donations and more than 60 million items of relief supplies.
