Actor Jang Geun-suk has participated in supporting the victims of the forest fire.
Jang Geun-suk donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association today (27th) for the recovery efforts in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan affected by the forest fire.
Jang Geun-suk said, "I sincerely hope that the forest fire is put out as soon as possible and that those who have suffered can regain their peaceful daily lives. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the firefighters who are working hard for a swift extinguishment."
The donated funds will be used for various support activities for the livelihood support and housing recovery of residents affected by the forest fire, as well as for the reconstruction of the damaged areas.
Jang Geun-suk, who is also a member of the "Honors Club," a group of high-value individual donors, has been consistently making donations, including contributions for the typhoon damage in the Philippines in 2013, flood damage in Pakistan in 2022, and emergency relief for the earthquake damage in Turkey and Syria in 2023. In addition, he has continued to carry out charitable works for disadvantaged neighbors every year.
