Marvel's movie 'Avengers' is making a comeback.

On the 26th (local time), Marvel announced the casting lineup for 'Avengers: Doomsday' and 'Avengers: Secret Wars,' which are the fifth and sixth installments, respectively. This marks the arrival of a long-awaited new production since 'Avengers: Endgame' in 2019.

As previously reported, Robert Downey Jr. will return not as Iron Man but as Doctor Doom. Robert Downey Jr. has played the character Tony Stark in 10 Marvel films since he began with 'Iron Man' in 2008.

However, as Iron Man died in 'Avengers: Endgame,' Robert Downey Jr. also stepped away from Marvel films with this work. Nevertheless, many hoped for his return as Victor von Doom, who will become the most terrifying villain in Marvel Comics history.

Also, Chris Hemsworth will return as Thor, and Anthony Mackie will once again join 'Avengers' as Sam Wilson, the new Captain America. Sebastian Stan, who played the Winter Soldier, and Letitia Wright from 'Black Panther' will also star in 'Avengers: Doomsday.'

In addition, Paul Rudd, who plays the Ant-Man hero, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh, Dani Ramirez, and David Harbour will also grant roles.

'Avengers: Doomsday' aims to release in May 2026, while 'Avengers: Secret Wars' is set for May 2027.
