The group WEi member Kim Jun-seo shared the behind-the-scenes of 'Secret Relationship'.

Kim Jun-seo appeared in the drama 'Secret Relationship' (creator Jeong Soo-yoon/scriptwriter Lee Yoon-jin/director Yang Kyung-hee/co-produced by Fuji TV, Playlist, Kakao) as Jeong Da-on, portraying the inner details of a three-dimensional character and leading the story.

In particular, 'Secret Relationship' is based on the popular office BL webtoon of the same name by the writer of MacQueen Studio, which has recorded multiple first places in the Kakao Webtoon romance rankings. Kim Jun-seo has received praise for his visual appearance, which seems to have stepped out of the webtoon.

'Secret Relationship' has reached the top on various global platforms, including in South Korea, Japan, North America, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Next is Kim Jun-seo's Q&A.

Q. The first full-length project, 'Secret Relationship,' has been released. How do you feel about it?

A. As it is my debut project, I did my best to prepare and worked hard during the shoot. I was really happy and honored that so many people loved it.

Q. You portrayed various ages, from high school students to college students to office workers. Did you prepare anything special for this?

A. Since the story moves between the past and present, I wanted to create differences in external details. When portraying a student, I aimed for a cute, youthful appearance, while for an office worker, I focused on being more mature and showing a diligent, exemplary figure. I worked hard to diet to resemble the external appearance of the original Da-on as closely as possible.

Q. You expressed the emotions of a deeply scarred character delicately. What did you focus on while acting?

A. I think I focused on showing the emotions I feel through facial expressions. I naturally express my emotions well through my eyes and facial expressions, so I tried to empathize as much as possible with the situation and emotions of the character Da-on to present a natural image.

Q. The chemistry with fellow actors was crucial in this project. I'm curious about how you matched each other's rhythm.

A. All the actors I performed with were extroverted. We ate together before filming and quickly became close through practice. In particular, we shared a lot of our thoughts about the project, discussing the points of concern for each scene to harmonize our performance.

Q. It seems like there would be a significant difference between being on stage as WEi member Kim Jun-seo and filming as actor Kim Jun-seo. What differences did you feel?

A. As a singer, Kim Jun-seo primarily interacts with fans by showcasing the songs and dances I practiced, while as an actor, I think I pondered more about 'how can I become more immersed in this character?' and 'how can I express this character in a way that makes them beloved?'

Q. What does 'Secret Relationship' mean to you?

A. I think it's a valuable experience that has given me a gift I will never experience again in life.

Please say a word to the viewers who loved 'Secret Relationship.'

A. Thank you so much for watching 'Secret Relationship.' I hope you continue to remember and cherish Da-on from 'Secret Relationship.' I will also treasure the love I have received from all of you. I will do my best as both a singer and an actor, so I hope you would watch over me kindly. Thank you, and I love you all.
