According to the music industry on the 26th, Lim Young-woong fell behind on paying local government tax and was seized by the Mapo District Office in October of last year for his penthouse home in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo.

Lim Young-woong's agency, Fish Music, explained, "Lim Young-woong's residence APT. is located on the 3rd floor, not on the basement or the 1st floor where the entrance is, which caused a delay in checking the mail for a certain period, resulting in him not receiving the local government tax notice and eventually receiving a seizure notice."

He also noted, "After becoming aware of this fact earlier this year, I immediately paid the tax, and the seizure has also been lifted. I sincerely apologize for this incident, which occurred due to not paying close attention."

Lim Young-woong purchased the highest-floor penthouse at the Myeongdong complex, which measures 223.31 square meters (67 pyeong) and has a supply area of 294.71 square meters (89 pyeong), for 5.1 billion won in September 2022. Despite the sluggish real estate market at the time, it traded at 5.1 billion won, a record high that was 1.72 billion won higher than the previous high of 3.38 billion won set in January 2019.
