On October 27, after the passing, she sent a message saying, "Soo-mi, I miss you. Where are you? Please let me know." Seo Hyo-rim, who is the daughter-in-law of the late Kim Soo-mi, mentioned Kim Hye-ja's message, saying, "I cried a lot and replied to her. I said that she had arrived well in heaven."

Seo Hyo-rim remarked, "After that, I received a reply saying, 'I’m glad to hear you arrived in heaven. Please rest comfortably now; we’ll see each other next time.' It seems like she wanted to communicate like this at least," indicating that "(Kim Hye-ja) must have known we would respond, but it seems she wanted to talk this way."
