In the 'Salon Drip 2,' Kang Ha Neul revealed that he is younger than Yim Siwan and mentioned the highly secure filming site of 'Squid Game 2.'

That day, Kang Ha Neul surprised everyone by saying, while looking at Jang Doyoun, "It feels like seeing a celebrity," and Jang Doyoun echoed, "I am a celebrity." Then, Kang Ha Neul, born in 1989, asked Jang Doyoun how old she was, to which Jang Doyoun replied, "I'll say it frankly, how old do I look?" causing laughter, and Kang Ha Neul followed up with, "That's rude," also bringing more smiles.
When asked about his criteria for choosing projects, Kang Ha Neul said, "If I can read it all the way to the end while sitting down, I will do it. This current 'streaming' project is the same."
When asked about appearing in 'Squid Game 2,' Kang Ha Neul mentioned that he and Yim Siwan, whom he shared the screen with in 'Misaeng,' both appeared in it. Kang Ha Neul remarked, "Yim Siwan is older than me," pointing out that Yim Siwan, born in 1988, is older while Kang Ha Neul is an early 1990s baby, saying, "People are surprised by that," which elicited laughter.
When asked if they knew each other would be in 'Squid Game 2,' Kang Ha Neul replied, "None of the cast knew, except for Lee Jung Jae. I arrived 30 minutes early for the character shoot, but someone was already filming, so nobody knew," he said. He added, "During the test shoot, I was surprised to see Yim Siwan and said, 'Hyung, why are you here?,' and I was taken aback."
Kang Ha Neul expressed, "After meeting after a long time, I was wondering how long it has been. Meeting as participants in 'Squid Game 2' felt different from when we met in 'Misaeng.' I thought that after ten years of piling up our filmographies, we have managed to survive somewhat in this industry."
