Actor Lee Tae-young has been cast in KBS 2TV's weekend drama "For Eagle Brothers" (scripted by Kwon Hoon-sook, directed by Choi Sang-yeol) and is managing a busy schedule while also actively working on commercials.
Lee Tae-young plays the role of Oh Heung-soo (Kim Dong-wan's character), who, after being fired while gaining fame as a backup dancer, teaches broadcasting dance and Zumba at a cultural center, captivating viewers with a comical character. Recently, it was reported that he has also been cast in a promotional video for a bank.
On the 26th, Lee Tae-young posted on his social media, "The content was a comedic version, so I was laughing throughout the shoot," adding, "During the filming, the director praised my comedic acting by saying, 'I thought you were a public comedian.' He also gave me a lot of opportunities for ad-libs, allowing me to try various things in a short time. My senior who worked alongside me also praised me as being 'rich in expressions.' We shot in a really warm atmosphere, exchanging ideas freely, compliments, and humor," along with sharing photos from the commercial set.
He continued, "The drama is being filmed in a pleasant atmosphere where everyone is wholeheartedly passionate, and the CF set was also filled with laughter," adding, "I am so grateful to encounter such good environments as an actor." Graduating from Chung-Ang University, Lee Tae-young debuted in the 2011 film 'Love is Scary' and has appeared in films such as 'Dancing Queen', 'Stone', 'After School', 'Secret Love', and dramas like 'Good Doctor', 'High School King of Savvy', 'The Time We Were Not in Love', 'Run to Tomorrow', 'Stormy Lover', 'Girl K', 'Wow! a Girl', 'Full House Take 2', 'Shopping King Louie', 'Tomorrow with You', and 'The Doll's House'. He has also worked as a director and actor in web dramas such as 'Heart, Run', 'Christian Diary Series', 'The Day Before Shooting', 'The Saddest Story of the Brightest Day', 'Smart NGO Life', and in the film 'If I Get Another Chance'.
