Actor Choi Bool-am shared his thoughts on completing the journey of 'Korean Dining Table.'

On the 26th, Choi said in a phone currency with OSEN, "To say that I am finishing the journey of 'Korean Dining Table' is just the story itself,” adding, “Where is the talk of leaving 'Korean Dining Table'? It is something I am passing on to my juniors."

On that day, the production team of 'Korean Dining Table' announced that over the past 14 years and 3 months since its first broadcast in January 2011, the show, which symbolizes the lives and culture of Koreans, has now concluded its long journey.

Choi Bool-am, who has been a part of 'Korean Dining Table' for 14 years, also took a long vacation last year. His absence was filled by his wife Kim Min-ja, along with Ryu Seung-ryong, Hwang Jung-min, Han Ji-min, Go Doo-shim, Lee Jay-hoon, Ji Jin-hee, Shin Ha-kyun, Lee Moon-sae, and Taeyang.

Although Choi Bool-am returned to 'Korean Dining Table' through the broadcast on Jan. 3, he conveyed the news of concluding his journey after about two months, evoking disappointment. Concerns arose about his health due to his advanced age.

In response, Choi told OSEN, "Realistically, I can hardly stand now. I had surgery on my spine, but the recovery is slow. However, this issue is not the reason for concluding my journey. After nearly 15 years, it is time to stop."

Choi Soo-jong will take over as Choi Bool-am's successor. When asked if he had any words to pass on to the new MC, Choi Bool-am said, "That friend Choi Soo-jong is also over sixty. What can I say? I hope he leads the program well, but what can I say?"

Meanwhile, the 700th episode of KBS1's 'Korean Dining Table,' featuring new presenter Choi Soo-jong, will air on April 10 at 7:40 p.m.
