The five members of the group NewJeans expressed their feelings about the suspension of activities.

On the 26th, BBC News Korea released a video titled "NewJeans, the reason for the suspension of NJZ activities" on its official YouTube channel.

In the video, Hanni noted, "The decisions we made over the past year were all made after tremendous internal discussions. To be honest, it has not been comfortable to keep bringing this up. Other teams are involved in this story, and we do not want to affect them in any way. There is no reason or need to do so. If we do not openly express our thoughts and feelings, people will not know. I think people only believed what was reported in the media."

Daniel said, "In 2024, while I was personally experiencing this situation, I tried to quietly hide everything. I tried to ignore what was happening around me while suppressing my feelings. Because when the situation started, we were preparing for a comeback. But at some point, the suppressed emotions nearly exploded. And it hurt my heart."

On the 21st, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) accepted and ruled on ADOR's application for a provisional injunction against the five members of NewJeans concerning "preservation of agency status and prohibition on signing advertising contracts."

After the court's ruling on the provisional injunction, NewJeans met again with BBC News Korea. Daniel said, "I really expected a different outcome, but I remember everyone who saw the news was shocked."

Haein claimed, "Some people might think that we are very famous and can do anything we want and say everything we want. We have been enduring a lot, and now we have barely raised our voices about the injustices we experienced. Honestly, looking at it from a societal perspective, the situation is not favorable for us. However, I believe that this situation itself indicates the reality. We have spoken up with immense courage."

Meanwhile, after the court's decision on the provisional injunction, the legal representatives of the five members filed an objection. They also warned of a strong response against malicious commenters, stating, "The spreading of false information and malicious defamation, as well as insulting posts, has reached a serious level."
