The group sound Jannabi (Choi Jung-hoon, Kim Do-hyung) has demonstrated their positive influence for neighbors affected by wildfires.
On the 26th, according to OSEN's coverage, Jannabi donated 10 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. They extended a helping hand in hopes of assisting neighbors in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions affected by the wildfires and that the flames will soon be controlled.
This is not Jannabi's first donation. During the difficult time of COVID-19 in 2020, they canceled a concert, but still donated masks to Daegu in cooperation with their fan club, while fans collectively contributed their concert refunds to donate to organizations such as the Daegu Medical Association.
Additionally, vocalist Choi Jung-hoon donates his entire grant each time he performs at the festival stage of his alma mater, Kyunghee University, and has also provided donations for those affected by the heavy rains in 2023.
Meanwhile, according to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on the 26th, a total of 18 people died due to six medium to large wildfires that have occurred nationwide since the 21st, including 14 in Gyeongbuk and 4 in Gyeongnam. There are six seriously injured individuals, including one in Gyeongbuk and five in Gyeongnam, while 13 individuals sustained minor injuries, including six in Gyeongbuk, five in Gyeongnam, and two in Ulsan.
