Actress Park Bo-young donated 50 million won to improve the treatment of firefighters.
On the 26th, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that Park Bo-young donated 50 million won for firefighter support.
Her agency noted, "Park Bo-young has always felt deeply for the hard work of firefighters at disaster sites and has maintained a heartfelt gratitude toward them," adding, "It was with the hope that firefighters can work in a better environment that this donation was made."
Park Bo-young is a member of the "Hope Bridge Honors Club," a high-value donor group, and she has practiced sharing during various disasters such as wildfires, floods, COVID-19, and earthquakes. Through her warm sharing, she conveyed a message of support for those who silently dedicate themselves in unseen places.
Shin Hoon, secretary general of Hope Bridge, said, "Park Bo-young's donation is a warm solidarity filled with deep respect for the dedication of firefighters," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that this valuable intention leads to real changes on the ground."
