The remix of NCT member Mark's (affiliated with SME) 'Fraktsiya (Feat. Lee Young-ji)' will be released today (26th).
SME's EDM label ScreaM Records is conducting the 'iScreaM' project, which releases remix versions of songs by SM artists, and showcases the 37th single 'iScreaM Vol.37: Fraktsiya (Feat. Lee Young-ji) Remixes' on various music sites today (26th) at 1 p.m.
This single features unique Korean artists such as DJ co.kr, h4rdy, BRLLNT, and machìna, who have participated and reinterpreted the song in their own distinctive styles, enhancing the listening experience with three remix versions.
In particular, this remix emphasizes the rapping of artist Lee Young-ji, who collaborated with Mark, showcasing a sensuous approach based on UK BASS in the versions by DJ co.kr and h4rdy, the unique house interpretation integrated into the BRLLNT version, and the techno-influenced machìna version, all of which offer an expanded musical experience that maximizes the song's new appeal.
Mark's 'Fraktsiya (Feat. Lee Young-ji),' released last December, is an impressive hip-hop track featuring a heavy 808 BASS over house-style chord progressions and intensely repetitive synthesizer sounds. It received much love from global music fans, topping the real-time charts on major domestic music platforms immediately after its release and ranking in the top 10 of the iTunes top song charts in 15 regions worldwide.
Mark will release his first solo album 'The Firstfruit,' inspired by the four cities he has passed through: Toronto, New York, Vancouver, and Seoul, on April 7.
