In "Dad and Me," actress Park Han-Byul previewed her appearance with her father and shed tears over her father's shocking confession. Notably, there was attention on whether she would share her thoughts about her husband's Burning Sun controversy.

The preview for TV Chosun's entertainment show "Dad and Me," which aired on the 25th, announced actress Park Han-Byul's appearance.

It took Park Han-Byul six years to stand in front of the camera that day. It was primarily due to the controversy surrounding her husband's involvement in a case.

Previously, she married former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In-seok in 2017, had a son, and created a happy family, but in 2019, Yoo In-seok was implicated in the Burning Sun Gate over allegations of facilitating prostitution and was sentenced to one year in prison with a three-year suspended sentence the following year. At the time, Park Han-Byul said, "I thought it was impossible to separate the past experiences of the person I'm supposed to spend my life with from my life. However, since an investigation is ongoing, I am in a position where I must be very cautious with any statements. I'm sorry."

Having effectively suspended her activities in the entertainment industry, Park Han-Byul also said during the broadcast, "I felt very sorry about my husband's issues, and as a wife, I felt a sense of responsibility," shedding tears and revealing that the self-imposed six-year gap was "like a hell every day, just isolated from the world and not contacted anyone."

Notably, her father also appeared alongside her; Park Han-Byul is the only daughter of former soccer player Park Chae-hwa, and her father has served as the director of the soccer team at Seongji High School, as well as the coach of Budget FC and Seoul City Hall.

Silently supporting his daughter through her six years, her father said, "I couldn't ask more about it for fear of hurting her. Also, I developed social anxiety; I couldn't sleep, thought about jumping off a high mountain, and had many extreme thoughts," shocking viewers. He then added, "Our child cannot cry 'Daddy'—that is absolutely not acceptable," expressing his determination.

Upon hearing her father's wounds for the first time, Park Han-Byul said, "I just feel sorry," and eventually bowed her head and shed tears, which moved those watching. Attention was also drawn to whether she would openly share the emotional struggles she endured due to Burning Sun and the tough times over the past six years as she returns to the entertainment world.

Most importantly, on the 9th, the production team of 'Dad and Me' noted, "Actress Park Han-Byul will appear on 'Dad and Me,' having already completed the recording and will reveal her daily life with her father. However, the broadcast date is currently under discussion," hinting at the show's schedule being set for April 2 next week.

Meanwhile, Park Han-Byul's last project was the MBC drama "Loves When It's Sad" in 2019. The controversy surrounding her husband erupted while this drama was airing, leading to a wave of demands for her to step down; however, she completed the project through to its conclusion. After the drama ended, she organized her home in Seoul and began living in Jeju with her son.

After moving to Jeju, Park Han-Byul opened a café and transformed into a café owner, living a second life and gradually communicating via social media. In October 2021, she hinted at the possibility of returning to acting by re-signing with her former agency, EL Park, but it was not easy, and eventually, her exclusive contract ended.

Subsequently, Park Han-Byul launched her personal YouTube channel in 2023, and in December 2024, she signed an exclusive contract with her new agency, Chan Entertainment, officially announcing her return to activities. She emphasized that she would be returning to her primary profession as an actress through short-form dramas.
