GOT7 member and actor Park Jin-young donated 50 million won for wildfire damage relief.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) stated on the 26th that actor Park Jin-young donated a total of 50 million won for wildfire damage relief and support for firefighters.
Park Jin-young said, "I felt heavy-hearted listening to the stories of firefighters who toil day and night at the scene of the wildfire, and I decided to donate, wanting to contribute even a little bit."
With this donation, Park Jin-young reached a cumulative donation total of 100 million won and was appointed as a member of the 'Hope Bridge Honor Club,' a group for high-value individual donors of Hope Bridge.
Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon stated, "Park Jin-young's donation reflects a warm heart toward the affected residents and field personnel, and we will responsibly deliver this precious intent to ensure it is used meaningfully on-site."
Meanwhile, Hope Bridge is currently providing emergency relief supplies to wildfire-affected areas in Uiseong County in North Gyeongsang Province and Sancheong County in South Gyeongsang Province, and is operating relief vehicles such as laundry vehicles and mental recovery buses at temporary shelters on-site. Additional support is being considered if deemed necessary in consultation with local governments.
