Fans of Kim Yong-bin, the winner of 'Mr. Trot 3,' have stepped up to help neighbors affected by wildfires.
The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 25th that Kim Yong-bin's official fan cafe 'Love Bin' has donated 49,090,555 won for wildfire relief support. The fan cafe conducted a fundraising event independently for two days.
Hope Bridge plans to use the wildfire donations for ▲emergency relief for evacuees ▲donations for victims ▲support for recovery, helping residents of affected areas from immediate relief to recovery.
Members of the Love Bin fan cafe stated, "Nearly 50 million won was raised in just two days during the fundraising event organized by the cafe, as members were eager to join the singer's good intentions," and added, "We hope the wildfire is extinguished soon and that this brings some comfort to the affected neighbors."
Kim Yong-bin recently gained attention for stating in his victory speech after winning 'Mr. Trot 3,' "I will use the prize money of 300 million won for my members, family, and fans."
Shin Hun, the secretary-general of the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, expressed gratitude, saying, "I thank the members of the fan cafe 'Love Bin' for quickly gathering to help affected neighbors," and noted, "Hope Bridge will do its best to assist the disaster victims according to the donors' intentions."
