The virtual idol group PLAVE has participated in supporting wildfire damage relief.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 26th that the virtual idol group PLAVE donated 50 million won for the restoration of wildfire damage in areas including Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan.
According to the agency, PLAVE noted, "We decided to donate with the hope that it would provide some comfort to all those affected by this wildfire," adding, "I hope it will also help the firefighters who are working hard, and I wish that those who are suffering from this sudden disaster can recover their daily lives as soon as possible."
Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon stated, "PLAVE's donation is a warm action that carries a social message beyond a simple good deed," and added, "Hope Bridge will do its best to ensure that this precious sentiment leads to the recovery of daily life for the residents in the affected areas."
Meanwhile, donations related to the wildfire-affected areas in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam can be made through the Hope Bridge website and the online fundraising platforms Naver Happy Bean and Kakao together, and details can be confirmed on the Hope Bridge website.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association is a disaster relief fundraising organization established in 1961 by media companies and social organizations nationwide. Its main activities include emergency disaster relief, public fundraising and distribution, recovery of local communities after disasters, and support for vulnerable groups during disasters.
