Mnet’s mega hit ‘Street Woman Fighter,’ which is the third season and an international competition, has confirmed its first broadcast on May 27 (Tuesday). Mnet ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ (directed by Kwon Young-chan CP and Choi Jung-nam PD, hereafter referred to as ‘WSWF’) opened the global public evaluation of the ‘World of K-POP Mission’ and revealed the lineup of six crews on the 25th (Tuesday) through its official YouTube channel, The CHOOM.

The revealed lineup is truly ‘world-class.’ AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY have made it to the ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ lineup.

The first team to grant participation is ‘Korean representative’ BUMSUP. The leaders of ‘Street Woman Fighter’ Season 1, which heated up the year 2021, have come together. With the addition of legendary waacking dancer ‘Battler’ Lip Jay, they have completed an Avengers team. Led by Honey J, the Season 1 champion, they are expected to demonstrate unparalleled performances.

AG SQUAD has also made its appearance. AG SQUAD is a crew formed by key first-generation members Kaia, RUSHI, and Lucy Baby who led the golden age of the world-renowned dance crew ROYAL FAMILY. A versatile crew of dancers from various genres such as hip hop, dancehall, Afro, and heeled, they will be representing Australia in the ‘World of Street Woman Fighter.’

MOTIV, representing the United States, is also a formidable opponent. MOTIV is a hip hop crew led by authentic old-school hip hop dancer Mali. Founded by leader Mali at a young age, the team has a dramatic growth story, starting on a small scale and becoming a headliner crew at the global dance competition ‘World of Dance.’ Notably, Logistics, a member and national representative of breaking in the U.S., adds to their diverse dancing and determination.

Two crews will represent Japan. The Osaka crew, rooted in hip hop and battle culture, and the Tokyo crew, known for their elaborate choreography and performances, will each represent their country while showcasing their different colors.

First, OSAKA Ojo Gang is a team centered around ‘waacking queen’ Ibuki, who has been sweeping victory at major global dance battles. Joining her is Kyoka, who has been making a name for herself in the global hip hop scene beyond Japan. With champions Ibuki and Kyoka at the core, OSAKA Ojo Gang is expected to make a powerful impact in the ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ with their overwhelming battle skills.

RHTokyo is a crew led by Rie Hata, a symbolic dancer from Tokyo who is also an active choreographer in the K-POP scene. They will be deployed alongside OSAKA Ojo Gang as Japan’s representatives. Rie Hata has collaborated on choreography for K-POP superstars such as G-Dragon’s ‘TOO BAD,’ BTS, BoA, Zico, TWICE, CL, and EXO, drawing attention to the strength they will showcase as a team.

The addition of ROYAL FAMILY also enhances expectations. ROYAL FAMILY has shined as a well-known crew, collaborating with global artists such as Rihanna, Sierra, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber, establishing its world-class presence early on. The crew, led by Paris Gobel and having enjoyed its prime, is now centered around Tisha, expected to represent New Zealand in the ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ and prove their global fame.

The production team noted, ‘The international dancers we have seen as references until now have become the protagonists of our program. This is a lineup we have only imagined,’ and added, ‘Please look forward to the performances of the six crews that will illuminate this international competition, the ‘World of Street Woman Fighter.’

The highly anticipated six crews of ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ have been unveiled, and from the 25th (Tuesday), the global public evaluation of the ‘World of K-POP Mission’ is ongoing. The first crew to be eliminated will be determined in a mission where they compete in performances of K-POP songs representing South Korea. The mission video of ‘Team Korea’ BUMSUP has surpassed 1 million views within approximately 14 hours of its release, recording the number one spot in the trending videos (also known as ‘Ingeupdong’). Following closely, ROYAL FAMILY and RHTokyo are in second and third places in the trending rankings, proving the intense interest.
