Actor Ha Jung-woo underwent emergency surgery for acute appendicitis while preparing for the release of his third directorial film "Lobby," leading to the temporary cancellation of the scheduled project interview.

On the 26th, the "Lobby" team stated to OSEN, "Director and actor Ha Jung-woo is recovering after surgery for acute appendicitis," and added, "The media interview scheduled for the 28th will regrettably not be able to proceed, and we sincerely apologize for this."

However, the "Lobby" team noted, "We will provide further updates after checking Ha Jung-woo's progress."

"Lobby," set to be released on April 2, portrays the story of a startup CEO, Chang-woo (Ha Jung-woo), who knows only research, embarking on his first golf lobbying effort to secure a $4 trillion national project. This film is Ha Jung-woo's third directorial effort following "Roller Coaster" and "Heo Sam-kwan."

To this end, Ha Jung-woo was also scheduled to attend the press screening and reporter meeting for "Lobby" held on the 25th, but he could not attend due to the emergency surgery for acute appendicitis. Consequently, the interview schedule has also been temporarily canceled for recovery.
