On the 25th, broadcaster Kim Na-young donated 50 million won to the Beautiful Foundation to support wildfire victims. The donation will be used to assist residents affected by the wildfires in returning to their daily lives.
Recently, more than 5,000 evacuees have emerged from a large wildfire in the Yeongnam region, and firefighting authorities are prioritizing the protection of homes and lives while continuing their firefighting efforts. As many residents remain in temporary shelters, there is an urgent need for swift support for the recovery of the evacuees' daily lives.
Kim Na-young's donation will be used to support the living conditions of evacuees staying in temporary shelters through the Beautiful Foundation's 'Emergency Support Project for Wildfire Damage.' The Beautiful Foundation will work with the Asia-Pacific Disaster Response International Organization, A-PAD, and its Korean branch, A-PAD Korea, to quickly assess the situation and provide necessary relief supplies.
Meanwhile, Kim Na-young has been actively engaged in charitable activities since 2020. Since 2020, she has donated the revenue from advertisements on her YouTube channel 'No Filter TV' annually to help youth preparing for independence and single-parent women. She has also made significant impacts in various ways, such as providing emergency living expenses for single-parent women self-employed in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Including this latest donation, Kim Na-young's total contributions amount to 600 million won.
