Actor Choi Bool-am is leaving 'Korean Table.'
The 'Korean Table' team at KBS 1TV noted on the 26th, "Since its first broadcast in January 2011, Choi Bool-am, a symbol of 'Korean Table' that has traveled across the country for 14 years and 3 months, is completing this long journey, and actor Choi Soo-jong will take over the baton."
The 'Korean Table' team explained, "The warm table passed down by Choi Bool-am will now shine anew in the hands of Choi Soo-jong," adding, "This is not merely a change of MC but a process of inheriting the legacy of the table across generations, advancing into the future while embracing the past."
New MC Choi Soo-jong will be introduced starting with the 700th episode set to air on April 10. Choi Bool-am said, "I want to pass down the stories of the table that I have shared for a long time to my reliable junior," and added, "I will always support the continuation of our rich and deep flavors. I sincerely hope that it will continue to shine as a good program for a long time to come."
The production team stated, "Teacher Choi Bool-am has conveyed the lives and cultures of Koreans through our food while traveling across the country for the past 14 years. His dedication and passion will be deeply engraved in all our hearts," and expressed, "We anticipate and hope for much support in the upcoming journey with our new culinary guide, Choi Soo-jong."
