Singer and actress Son Dam-bi shared her update, noting that there are just under 3 weeks left until her delivery.
On the 26th, a video titled "Real-life parenting preparation! Son Dam-bi's hectic baby room decoration" was uploaded to the 'Dam-bi Son' channel.
On that day, Son Dam-bi said, "How much time do I have left? Exactly 3 weeks left. It's 21 days left in terms of dates. My stomach feels like it's about to burst. But I've heard it's not as big as other pregnant women, but now my back hurts quite a bit. Anyway, there are 3 weeks left, but we've had a lot of issues, right? There's the elevator issue, and I'm a P type. So, it seems like it's a bit late. We need to decorate the baby room, but neither of us know how to do it. Because both our rooms are storage rooms. We can't remove the built-in wardrobes. There's some difficulty with that. We decided to move after a year because of the baby."
He explained, "Anyway, let's take a look inside. It's a complete mess right now," and revealed the storage room. "Everything here is built-in. It's custom-made and matched. Babies like cooler places, so that room is also a storage room, but it gets really hot. Even with the air conditioner on, it's unbearable. So, I think it would be best to clear this out and put a small newborn crib here along with a storage unit for diapers and clothes."
Moving to the next storage room, Son Dam-bi said, "Since I'm full-term, I can't even organize my clothes. My back hurts too much, and my belly is very big. This is the second room, so don't be surprised. I haven't organized anything, and since there's a bathroom attached, it's convenient for the baby, but it's too hot. It's as hot as the living room. Everything is blocked with the built-in wardrobe, so the air conditioner is ineffective. There's no ventilation."
She continued, "Today, I will assemble the baby crib, clear everything out, and even move the USM. I don't know how it'll turn out, but I'll try to finish it within 3 weeks." However, due to a stubborn drawer, she couldn't organize it properly, and in the end, Lee Gyu-hyuk only assembled the crib before finishing the day. Son Dam-bi said, "We'll use this for 3 months, then change it to a larger bed for a few months, and I think we'll need to switch to a fully enclosed bed later. I'll buy a baby washing machine and wash all the cloths before the baby is born, about 3 days in advance. Actually, it's fine to do it the day before. It doesn't need a lot. I've heard that many people bought too much, so they didn't use a lot of what they bought."
The producer noted, "It's still better to pack early..." and Son Dam-bi replied, "I'll do it about 3 days in advance. I ordered most things yesterday. Even though I'm a P type, I set it up here. After the baby is born, I'll be in the hospital for 2 weeks, so the rest will be up to my husband, right? Today, I can only show you the baby crib and will adjust my plans. I'll organize the drawer and put in the bed; the ordered items will be arriving soon. I think it would be faster to communicate through a vlog with that."
Afterward, Son Dam-bi recorded and shared additional footage of preparing the baby room. She revealed, "Our house is a complete disaster right now. My brother has almost finished the changing table. I thought he wouldn't be good at this, but he's doing well. He's almost done. I couldn't film the whole process. It's hard since I'm so full-term. My back feels like it's going to break."
She continued, "I'm laying out various items that I bought. I cleared all the clutter here today. I emptied it into the original room. I'm clearing the USM and soon the changing table and crib will be arriving. I need to decide how to use this space with the dresser. The issue is that I ordered the baby washing machine today. When the washing machine arrives, all the baby supplies will be in the bathroom. I need to organize everything one by one. Anyway, this is the situation. It's a complete mess."
Afterward, Son Dam-bi removed the USM unit and seeing the somewhat organized scene, she said, "There's a baby changing table, a crib, and decorative items and mobiles. I've cleaned everything up pretty well, even though it's a bit messy." She then greeted her soon-to-be-born daughter, saying, "See you soon."
