(Interview ③ continued) Actor Ryu Jun-yeol shared his connection with Noh Hong-cheol and Charles Entertainment.
On the morning of the 26th, an interview with Ryu Jun-yeol, the lead actor of the Netflix film 'Revelations' (directed by Yeon Sang-ho), took place at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Earlier, Ryu Jun-yeol's travel with Noh Hong-cheol, who runs a guesthouse in Switzerland, was revealed and became a topic of interest. He remarked about Noh Hong-cheol, "He is amazing. Among the people I have met recently, he has had the most intense influence on me. The values he pursues do not align with mine; in fact, they are quite the opposite. He seeks fun and enjoyment while I tend to look for something amid pain. However, despite his outward appearance, I felt there were many learnings from his philosophy."
He continued, "The very moment I decided to travel came when I was preparing for a cross-country trip in the United States, planning to work on my photography. I wanted to ask him, but he mentioned, 'I'm going to Switzerland this time; what do you think?' His unconditional kindness without any expectations was shocking. So even while staying (in Switzerland), and after returning, that curiosity, mixed with his kindness, remains in my memory. I learned a lot and felt he is one of the good adults I can learn from. I think there were lessons to take away. Initially, he was just someone I passed by, but the connections piled up to where they connected there. I have very fond memories of traveling together."
In particular, regarding the recent surprise appearance of Ryu Jun-yeol and Noh Hong-cheol in a Charles Entertainment video, he said, "I saw the video. He seems to possess all the good qualities of the friends nowadays. Personally, I find it very enjoyable and delightful to reach out to him. There's a lot to learn from him. I think it's a time to learn good points from everyone met, regardless of whether it's Hong-cheol or Charles Entertainment."
Meanwhile, 'Revelations' was released on Netflix on the 21st.
