Rapper Swings shared updates on his drama filming.
On the 25th, Swings posted on his social account, "I’m going to film a drama. Yay!" along with a screenshot of his navigation screen. He traveled by car from Seoul to Busan for the drama filming.
Later, he shared a photo of a script that had "Jung Hoon (actor Moon Ji-hoon)" written on it, along with updates from the filming site. Swings noted, "I’ve come all the way to Busan for the filming, and the staff keeps saying I look like an actor, haha! I'm feeling good, haha!"
He also added, "A nonexistent movie soon!" teasing the release. "A nonexistent movie" is a web drama series produced by Jin Yong-jin and currently released on YouTube. It appears that Swings will be featured in an episode titled "Father's Rights."
Meanwhile, earlier, director Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed in an interview that he considered casting Swings for the Thanos (played by Choi Seung-hyun) character in "Squid Game 2," but cast Choi Seung-hyun instead due to concerns about acting skills. In response, Swings, who appeared on MBC's "Radio Star" aired on the 19th, stated, "At the time that interview came out, I was in my second to third week of acting school," and expressed admiration after watching Choi Seung-hyun’s performance, saying, "I thought I could never pull that off."
He mentioned, "I’m challenging myself to acting in a new career. I've wanted to act since I was young. I'm currently attending an acting school that has produced stars like Gong Dong-won, Won Bin, and Kim Min-hee. Memorizing lines is incredibly difficult. Memorizing rap lyrics is slow for me, but lines are much harder," he revealed, announcing his upcoming actor debut this year with two projects.
