The global entertainment service Netflix has released the main poster and trailer for the variety show 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B,' featuring the unpredictable joy and romance of Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun.
'Kian’s Bizarre B&B,' which will be released worldwide on April 8, is a new concept of a guesthouse variety show set in Ulleungdo, where Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun engage with guests in unpredictable fun. Although nothing is imagined, it presents viewers with delightful laughter and unpredictable enjoyment through 'Kian' joy.
Producer Jeong Hyo-min and writer Yoon Shin-hye, who pioneered the guesthouse variety genre through [Hyori's Homestay], joined forces with Kian84, whose weapon is raw honesty, creating an unpredictable 'Kian' place filled with laughter, emotion, empathy, madness, and fantasy. Above all, expectations are high for the unique chemistry among the irreplaceable owner Kian84, the capable 'jack-of-all-trades' employee Jin from BTS, and the indispensable youngest captain Ji Ye-eun.
If the teaser poster and trailer previously released sparked curiosity with the bizarre visuals of Kian's imagination becoming reality, the main poster and trailer unveiled that day further encourage anticipation with scenes filled with 'Kian' joy. The main poster, featuring the family of Kian with their ever-changing expressions and the phrase 'between healing and killing,' promises the birth of an unprecedented concept in guesthouse variety.
The main trailer generates interest with the spectacular view of the five-star (?) guesthouse Kian, where hardships also become romantics. Kian84 designed the guesthouse on Ulleungdo. Even with the vast sea as the front yard, Kian is filled with unexpected 'Kian' romance. Starting with an entrance accessible only by climbing, and a kitchen that requires climbing to move, Jin and Ji Ye-eun cannot hide their astonishment at the design that prompts the spontaneous exclamation, 'Is this crazy?' However, in 'Kian,' where cleaning, meals, and care proceed at the owner's whim, Jin and Ji Ye-eun have become patched into Kian. With a cheerful remark, 'I think I'm becoming a little like the owner,' they also enjoy napping on the bare floor. Guests, although slightly unfamiliar and uncomfortable, enjoy the guesthouse in their own ways, saying, 'It's youth itself,' and the continued phrase, 'a house filled with romance,' creates even more curiosity about the episodes in Kian that will generate surprising memories beyond imagination.
Producers Jeong Hyo-min, Lee So-min, and Hwang Yoon-seo noted, 'The most important point in directing 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B' was to leave the 'Kian situation' open. The unpredictable 'Kian situation' is the fun that only exists in 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B.' We hope viewers feel, 'I want to visit Kian once.' They continued, 'At first, they may wonder, 'What kind of entertainment is this?' and find it intriguing, but we hope it becomes a program that is strangely fun and oddly heartwarming.'
Meanwhile, the new concept guesthouse variety 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B' will be available exclusively on Netflix starting April 8. A total of nine episodes will be released over three weeks from the 8th, starting with three episodes in the first week and presenting three episodes each week thereafter.
