Tomorrow X Together (TXT) member Beomgyu's early morning sensibility is gaining attention.

Beomgyu will release his first solo mixtape 'Panic' on the 27th. Known as an original song based on an emotional rock band sound, curiosity about 'Panic' is growing.

Beomgyu was highly noted as the 'visual member' of the group early in their debut. After also being active as a 'variety member,' his announcement of a lyrical atmosphere for his first mixtape feels like a somewhat unexpected challenge.

Last year, Beomgyu provided great laughs on various programs, including his solo variety show 'Exercise King Beomgyu,' and it seems that his conveying comfort and solace through band music doesn't quite match. However, those who have known Beomgyu for a long time can understand that 'Panic' is certainly not a song that came out suddenly. Through numerous interviews, Beomgyu has consistently expressed his affection for band music.

In fact, he has expressed his seriousness about band music by covering songs like 'Wonder' by the domestic indie band ADOY, 'You!' by the American indie pop band LANY, and 'Sukidakara' by the Japanese singer-songwriter Yuika. This is also the reason why long-time fans are responding to the news of 'Panic' with comments like 'That's so Beomgyu' and 'It has Beomgyu's sensibility.'

Especially since Beomgyu has been steadily working on tracks even in team albums, expectations and curiosity about his original song 'Panic' are even greater. He began co-producing the track 'Maze in the Mirror' from Tomorrow X Together's mini album 2, 'Dream Chapter: ETERNITY,' and has participated in producing and writing lyrics and composing for the track 'Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go' from mini album 4, 'minisode 2: Thursday's Child,' as well as the songs 'Balance Game' from the regular album 2, 'Chaos Chapter: FREEZE,' and 'Blue Spring' from the regular album 3, 'Name Chapter: FREEFALL.'

Beomgyu, who has built his skills over the years, plans to officially showcase his music through various events prepared for the release of 'Panic.' Experiences like music appreciation in the dark and a vinyl listening zone starting at the end of this month are expected to increase the focus on Beomgyu's music.

Along with the news of the release of 'Panic,' Beomgyu stated in a handwritten message posted on Weverse that, "It feels like many people are living day by day with the feeling of having lost their way, as if walking through a long tunnel. There were days when that darkness fell upon me too," confessing his time of sinking. It's never easy to share one's darkness. It brings encouragement to witness his growth as he transforms the time that was difficult to bear into music and takes a step forward as a musician.
