Actors Lee Jun-young, Lee Mi-do, and Lee Seung-woo will come together as trainers for '24-Hour Health Club.'
The new KBS2 drama '24-Hour Health Club,' set to premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m., is about a gym fanatic and director, Doh Hyeon-joong, who disrupts the overly anxious lives of gym newbies. This is an exciting muscle growth comedy romance.
In the drama, Lee Jun-young plays the role of the obsessive gym director, Doh Hyeon-joong, who suddenly takes on an old gym after being a world-class bodybuilder. Lee Mi-do and Lee Seung-woo portray Rosa and Alex, respectively, staff members of the '24-Hour Health Club.' The club has a total of three members, including director Hyeon-joong, Rosa, and Alex.
On the 25th, stills featuring Doh Hyeon-joong (Lee Jun-young), Rosa (Lee Mi-do), and Alex (Lee Seung-woo) were released and captured attention. The presence of the trio, known as the health squad, is bound to inspire the viewers’ desire to exercise and make them involuntarily shout 'Muscle Afternoon.'
Rosa, who skillfully manages the demanding members, views the new director Hyeon-joong as an intruder and keeps him in check. As seen in the stills, whenever Hyeon-joong and Rosa meet, they create a hilarious dynamic, growling at each other.
On the other hand, the gym's mascot and sweetheart, Alex, brightens up the place with his cheerful smile. Despite his innocent face, Alex, known as 'Babyface Muscle Guy,' has a muscular physique and is particularly devoted to Hyeon-joong. He is always ready to down a soda that causes muscle loss at Hyeon-joong's request, raising questions about the reasons behind his unwavering trust in Hyeon-joong.
The trio of the health squad is expected to take the viewers through a story that even those far removed from fitness can easily relate to, ensuring a range of emotions. Viewers are eagerly anticipating the broadcast, which will showcase the stellar performances of Lee Jun-young, Lee Mi-do, and Lee Seung-woo.
'24-Hour Health Club,' heralding the birth of an unprecedented health drama, is a collaboration between director Park Jun-soo, known for his dynamic direction through works like 'Gauss Electronics' and 'Music God,' and writer Kim Ji-soo, who showcased delicate yet refreshing writing in 'Postnatal Care Center.'
KBS2's new drama '24-Hour Health Club' will air for the first time on April 30 at 9:50 p.m., following 'Villains Everywhere.'
