The movie ‘YADANG: The Snitch’ is raising expectations for an impeccable performance with character videos of five distinctive actors.

On the 25th, the production team of the film ‘YADANG: The Snitch’ (director Hwang Byeong-guk, provided/distributed by Plus M Entertainment, produced by HYBE Media Corp) unveiled the character videos for the first time.

‘YADANG: The Snitch’ is a crime action film that unfolds with a broker who designs the drug trade in South Korea, an ‘investigator’ aiming for higher grounds, and a ‘detective’ who stakes everything on the eradication of drug crimes, all intertwining with different objectives.

The character videos of ‘YADANG: The Snitch’ unveiled for the first time show a feast of characters, each vividly alive, capturing attention at once. First, the intense investigator Gu Kwan-hee (Yoo Hae-jin) is full of ambition for power as he aims to ascend. A line from someone asking, “Do you want to go up?” draws attention to the conflicts and choices that Gu Kwan-hee, who harbors ambitions, will face. Drug broker Lee Gang-soo (Kang Ha-neul) attracts attention as he profits by buying and selling information between drug offenders and investigative agencies. Lee Gang-soo’s ambiguous line, “Time to act like a real opposition,” amplifies expectations for his forthcoming exploits.

Here, drug investigation detective Oh Sang-jae (Park Hae-joon) grabs attention with a compelling visual that intimidates drug offenders from the start. His assertive demeanor warns of a bold and exhilarating performance as he states, “I’m just going to do it my way!” South Korea’s untouchable Jo Hoon (Ryu Kyung-soo) intensifies the tension in the narrative with his depiction as a wicked character, enhancing immersion.

His confident line, “I’m Superman, so I’m okay,” raises curiosity about Jo Hoon’s character with chilling eyes and a distinct presence. Finally, actress Um Soo-jin (Chae Won-bin), who experiences a sudden downfall, fills the story with her vow for revenge against those who ruined her life. Her resolute statement, “The members, including me, are just the same as a year ago,” showcases Um Soo-jin’s strong determination to take revenge, regardless of the risks.

‘YADANG: The Snitch,’ which has unveiled character videos showing the intense impressions of five characters who have thrown everything for their respective goals, is set to be released on April 23.
