'Listening and trusting' MONSTA X's Minhyuk will take the mound for his first professional baseball pitch since his debut.
According to his agency, Starship Entertainment, Minhyuk will throw the first pitch at the '2025 KBO League' game between the LG Twins and Hanwha Eagles, taking place at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th at Jamsil Comprehensive Sports Complex.
Minhyuk expressed his excitement through his agency, saying, "I am thrilled to throw the first pitch for the first time since my debut. I thank the LG Twins for this wonderful opportunity, and I will do my best to give energy to the players and the audience." He added, "I will cheer hard for the LG Twins to win. I hope the players show great games this season without injuries."
MONSTA X, to which Minhyuk belongs, formed a relationship with the LG Twins when Kihyun and Jooheon participated in the OST 'AWAKE' for the TVING original documentary 'Our Game: LG Twins.' That year, Kihyun and Jooheon each took the mound as the first pitcher and batter for the LG Twins, and this time, Minhyuk will take the mound, continuing the warm relationship.
Since debuting as a member of MONSTA X in 2015, Minhyuk has captured the hearts of fans at home and abroad with his vocal, performance, and entertainment abilities. In particular, he garnered attention as the MC for SBS's 'Inkigayo' and as the sole host of Naver NOW.'s 'Vogue Show,' showcasing exceptional energy and talk skills. Last October, he participated in the '2024 K-EXPO FRANCE,' held in Paris, demonstrating his capabilities as an 'art-tainer.'
