Oh My Girl expressed their thoughts on their 10th anniversary.
Singles magazine released group photos taken with Oh My Girl on the 25th. In the released photos, Oh My Girl, who perfectly managed a sophisticated black and white styling, showcased both elegance and charisma while demonstrating their unchanging visuals and charm.
Oh My Girl is set to meet their fans through a concert in April. Yubin explained the meaning of the title 'Milky Way' by saying, "It's a lyric from our song 'Closer,' and I thought it could symbolize Oh My Girl. I believe that if we gather the pieces of memories we've walked through, it can become a long Milky Way." Seunghee added, "There are so many songs I want to present at this concert, so it was not easy to coordinate the setlist. However, since it's the 10th anniversary, we organized it with songs that made Oh My Girl what it is and songs that fans have loved. We plan to present songs that come to mind when you think of 'Oh My Girl.'"
When asked about her feelings on the 10th anniversary of their debut, Hyojung said, "I think it's a wonderful thing that I spent my 20s with the members and our fans. I feel very proud of the stages we've shared, and I want to express my gratitude to the members who believed in each other and followed along during that long time." Yooa also shared, "It feels like I've experienced so many things at once over the past 10 years. It has been very intense, passionate, and there were challenging times, but I think we have managed well together."
Reflecting on the most memorable moment of the past 10 years, Yooa said, "It was when we ranked number one on the music charts with 'Slightly Flustered.' While the figure '1' carries good meaning, I often thought it is not everything. It was the first time I experienced the joy of being number one, and I was glad to have the members by my side at that moment. The moments we struggled together flashed through my mind. That moment is still imprinted in my heart like a stamp."
Seunghee responded, "It was when we appeared on 'Queendom.' I think of it as a program that made it known that Oh My Girl is not just an ordinary group, and I thought the members would find the survival format challenging, but seeing them eventually succeed was a very touching moment." Arin added, "It was during our debut days when we would buy food together and confide in each other. Looking back, those moments feel even more nostalgic because we can never go back."
When asked about the next 10 years, Mimi said, "I hope we continue to do well like today. I want us to respect each other and not lose our original intentions. I simply think that as long as the members do their best, Oh My Girl will remain a wonderful group just as we are." Regarding her goals for 2025, Seunghee mentioned, "Since I've started acting, I want to bring good roles to the audience." Hyojung said, "Now that I've become a radio DJ, I want to be a friend-like DJ with the listeners." Arin expressed, "I want to grow through experiencing and feeling many things, and as Oh My Girl's Arin, I want to enjoy this concert happily and without regrets," while looking forward to meeting with fans.
The solo concert celebrating Oh My Girl's 10th anniversary, '2025 OH MY GIRL CONCERT 'Milky Way,' will be held on April 19 and 20 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
