Myung Se-bin sensed a downfall with the 'in-laws' remark.
On the 25th, the cable channel SBS Plus and E Channel variety show "Soloraseo" featured Myung Se-bin traveling with her sister-in-law.
As everyone tilted their heads at the unusual combination, Myung Se-bin said, "(The trip for just the two of us) is not that worrisome. I'm a little excited. We've lived together for a long time, so it's fine." Hwang Jung-eum noted, "(I've) never seen this kind of relationship before."
After finishing the Sancheoneo Festival, the two went to a jjimjilbang. Everyone was surprised at the close relationship between the two. They also ate the 'national rule' of jjimjilbang: Sikhye, grilled eggs, and cup noodles. Myung Se-bin said, "Is it okay if we travel together? We match well together." The sister-in-law responded, "Just because we've known each other for a long time doesn't mean it's good. It's something we've adjusted to together."
Myung Se-bin opened up, saying, "I hope there is nothing like that. I hope people don't wear colored glasses regarding in-laws. Everyone has prejudices that come to mind when they think of in-laws, right?" The sister-in-law added, "It's because I'm in the position of a sister-in-law. The daughter-in-law's perspective is different." Myung Se-bin seemed taken aback by her sister-in-law's words, saying, "Am I getting hit?" as she sensed a downfall.
Myung Se-bin mentioned that she often tags along on trips with her sister-in-law and brother. She acknowledged, "I acknowledge that I'm a third wheel," but also added, "It feels awkward to follow from the perspective of a sister-in-law. It must be uncomfortable for the sister-in-law. (For me), it's comfortable but cautious. I will back off at the right time and stuff."
Shin Dong-yeob said, "Since they are a couple, they would want to spend some cozy time together," to which Myung Se-bin replied, "That kind of thing is respected."
