Actor Ha Jung-woo could not attend the event for the movie 'Lobby' due to health issues.

SHOWBOX announced on the 25th, "Today, I had to undergo emergency surgery for acute appendicitis while on my way to attend an official schedule."

SHOWBOX noted, "Director and actor Ha Jung-woo was willing to attend the event, but he was unable to do so due to the doctor's opinion that the situation was difficult. Therefore, he will not participate in today's press preview, briefing, stage greeting, and empathy counseling event for the movie 'Lobby,' which was scheduled to take place." Acute appendicitis is commonly referred to as appendicitis.

Ha Jung-woo was scheduled to attend the press preview for the movie 'Lobby' as a director and actor at 2 p.m. in Yongsan District, Seoul, on that day. He was also scheduled to attend a press conference immediately after the preview. There is also an official interview scheduled for the 28th. The 'Lobby' team stated, "Currently, Director and actor Ha Jung-woo has a strong desire to participate in the interview," and added, "We will decide later and inform again."

'Lobby' is Ha Jung-woo's third work as a director, following 'Roller Coaster' (2013) and 'Heo Samgwan' (2015). It is a comedy that depicts the story of a startup CEO, Chang-wook, who knows nothing outside of research and begins golf lobbying to win a 4 trillion won national project. Alongside Ha Jung-woo, actors such as Park Byeong-eun, Kim Eui-sung, Lee Dong-hwi, Kang Hae-rim, Kang Mal-geum, Park Hae-soo, and Kwak Sun-young appear in the film.
