Seo Kang-jun is fully committed to tracking down gold bullion in 'Undercover High School'.
The MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' (planned by Namgung Seong-woo, written by Lim Young-bin, directed by Choi Jeong-in, hereinafter 'Under School') captivates viewers with its thrilling story and the special enjoyment of uncovering the hidden truths within it. Among them, Jung Hae-sung (played by Seo Kang-jun) adds dramatic interest while tracking rumors circulating in the school to find the gold bullion.
First, to conduct an undercover investigation, Hae-sung, who became a student at Byeongmun High School, sensed something suspicious while looking at the old and dilapidated building and came across the first rumor. According to his classmate Lee Dong-min (played by Shin Jun-hang), a girl who was bullied by students in the past committed suicide in the old classroom, and at the same time every day, the ghost of the dead student appears in the closed practice room. Hae-sung did not believe it, but after watching a video Dong-min took in the old classroom, he decided to check it out. There, he found the skeletal remains of a girl in a school uniform, but it turned out to be a model, raising questions about who would do such a thing and why.
The second rumor surrounding Byeongmun High School was equally exciting. A girl who was always second place due to a friend who was first pushed her friend off the roof out of jealousy, and shortly afterward, the girl who killed her friend was found dead as well. As a result, a rumor spread that one should not be at school when the clock strikes. To investigate the truth behind this pendulum clock, Hae-sung even became an executive to enter the student council room where the clock was located. Later, when Hae-sung heard the school song coming from the clock, he recorded it and discovered it was a four-hands performance, leading him to continue his deductions for the next rumor.
Hae-sung and Oh Soo-ah (played by Jin Ki-joo) secretly infiltrated the president's office to solve the third rumor related to the grand piano. There, they discovered a grand piano from the 1950s and aimed to solve the mystery by playing the school song that came from the pendulum clock. While playing, they found a clue that there was no sound only on the note 'do' and quickly exited the room. Soon after, Soo-ah deciphered the keywords intertwined between the school song lyrics and the note 'do,' seemingly getting closer to the gold bullion.
However, the last rumor was a mystery that no one could figure out. Even Dong-min, who loved rumors, found no clues related to it in Hae-sung's father's notebook. However, one thing was said: those who know that rumor disappear without a trace, creating a sense of tension. What could the truth of the fourth rumor be? The pursuit of gold bullion by Hae-sung, whose every step is uncertain, is drawing attention.
'Undercover High School' has added entertainment with its unpredictable story alongside Hae-sung's struggle to find the gold bullion. With only two episodes left until the 11th and final episode, the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' promises to deliver thrilling tension until the end with its unexpected twists as it flows in various directions. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
