The Genie TV original drama "New Recruit 3," which is scheduled to premiere on April 7, directed by Min Jin-ki and Jo Je-wook, written by Yoon Gi-young and Kang Go-eun, based on the original work by Jang Bbijju, planned by KT Studio Genie, and produced by A2Z Entertainment and Story Island, features unpredictable transfers of two new recruits and the return of an unprecedented villain that causes an emergency in the Mythical Unit, presenting Park Min-seok's (played by Kim Min-ho) dramatically elevated military life as he approaches his promotion to corporal.
The strong performances of the cast, which maximize the reality of unique characters, combined with delightful comedy and relatable realism, captured the audience's tastes across genders and generations, receiving great love in the previous season.
Lee Sang-jin plays the role of squad leader "Oh Seok-jin" in "New Recruit 3." Oh Seok-jin is an awkward but warm-hearted character who thinks of the soldiers.
