Yoon Seong-ho of 'Morning Yard' shared the pain of having his personal broadcasting channel, in which he invested all his wealth, hacked.
The broadcast of KBS1 'Morning Yard' aired on the 25th, featuring comedian Yoon Seong-ho and writer and artist Bad Boss in the 'Tuesday Guest' corner.
On this day’s program, Yoon Seong-ho said, 'I studied in China and returned to Korea, but there were no jobs. When I said let’s try again, COVID-19 came. At that time, I created a personal broadcasting channel and made a significant investment, with the concept of meeting people who need to get back up in the New Year called 'Get Up.' With the help of Cho Sae-ho and others, advertisements were attached, and we received positive responses, but then it vanished overnight due to the hacking. During COVID-19, I endured as it was not only hard for me, but when this happened to me, I felt I couldn’t hold on any longer. I even had not-so-good thoughts,' he revealed.
However, Yoon Seong-ho, who has risen again as 'New Jinsim,' said, 'I was involved as a monk in 'Gag Concert' if a monk role was needed, and I played a fixed monk role in comedy programs of other networks. At that time, it was a comedic element, so I changed my Dharma name every week. Before New Jinsim, I was active as Iljin Sim. When I was active as Iljin Sim, 'The Glory' was a hot topic, and I felt it was very related as it was a story about school violence. It means 'moving forward every day,' but it could be misunderstood, so I changed 'Il' to 'New.'
Yoon Seong-ho noted, 'At first, the Buddhist community was uncomfortable, but as the number of Buddhists is decreasing, a feeling developed that we need to do something. They said we need to rejuvenate, and as I started my activities as New Jinsim, they said it fits perfectly. As I did this, the number of young Buddhist followers increased significantly. Seeing the results, even those who were uncomfortable began to view it positively and embraced it.'
